Maintenance

Just as your bike needs proper maintenance, we recommend general maintenance to keep your wheels performing at their best.

  • Use mild soap and water to keep your rims clean. We use a 1:1 ratio of water to Simple Green. Rubbing alcohol is also suitable for cleaning rims.
  • Keep wheels stored away from high temperatures and harsh sunlight for long periods of time.
  • Inspect brake pads and remove any embedded small particles. Replace pads when worn past wear indicator.
  • If brake pads appear glazed , use a file or 120-grit sandpaper to lightly scuff and restore the surface finish.
